Yan is responsible for venture investment analysis, evaluation, and transaction execution. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente Ventures in 2010, Yan spent 3 years in life sciences and healthcare strategy consulting with IMS Health and Navigant Consulting. Yan's clients included pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, health plans and hospitals. Additionally, Yan spent a year leading a Stanford Asian Liver Center international healthcare program which provided free Hepatitis B vaccinations to over half a million children in rural China. Yan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Economics from Claremont Mckenna College.
